Development of 118 affordable homes in Sitges

The housing development is located in a new residential district north of the railway line. It is formed by three blocks adapted to the local geography and built around a central common area. Each block consists of two rows of homes that articulate the internal circulation spaces and the external common area. In order to encourage a spirit of community, the entrance to the blocks is through the central common area. Walkways provide circulation around these blocks of one- or two-bedroom apartments, which are designed to provide affordable housing. All apartments have balconies or roofs to enable residents to enjoy the superb climate of Sitges. The ground floor on two blocks are devoted to commercial premises, and the development is completed by another, separate block. The basement under the building houses a continuous single-storey car park.
